Download 188 Historical Vocal Pedagogy Texts

188 historical vocal pedagogy texts: that’s how many are on the member’s download page which is free.

Yes, you heard that right: free!

The number is more than I thought, oddly enough. Either I miscounted earlier, or I was busy adding texts and forgot to recount at some point. In any case, I was having coffee this morning (a mix of Kenyan and Jamaican beans from Zabars here on the upper west side) and found myself going through the page slowly and methodically and ended up with the magic number: 188.

I started curating the download page when VOICETALK-blog was housed on Google beginning in 2009. It was intended to be a list of texts that I found to be of particular interest. It’s snowballed since then, of course.

One request, if you please.

If you find a link that’s not working on the page, please let me know!

Speaking of which…

There’s a court case being heard now involving Archive.org—the source for quite a few links on the member’s download page. However, since the page features texts that are in the public domain, I doubt any links will be affected. Suffice it to say, I will be keeping my eyes on the matter to see what happens.

Meanwhile, please enjoy the fruit of my labors.
