Change

The only thing that is constant is change.
— Heraclitus

You go along in life, nothing seemingly changing, then wake up over the course of a week or month and realize that change has indeed happened to you. It can be the aging process, a life event, or one’s inner compass pointing in another direction. Once it happens, there is no going back. One either adapts or puts one’s head in the sand.

Change has come the Shigo Voice Studio.

New modern fonts have appeared with more white space on the website. So much for appearance.

There has also been three changes of content.

  1. The download page of historical vocal pedagogy texts is now housed within a Members Area. While membership is free for now, please know this will change.

  2. I’ve been writing VOICETALK for over a decade now for the general public. And while that’s not going to stop, I will also be writing a private blog that features ‘how to’ information for serious students of the voice as well as those within my voice studio.

  3. Lastly, I am creating an instructional video library, also for serious students of the voice as well as those within my studio. These last two changes will appear in 2022.

Want to get on board? Visit the membership page at the link here. I look forward to continuing the journey of beautiful singing—il bel canto—with you.
